Beauty session info for models
What to do before the photoshoot?
- Please come without any makeup on the day of the photoshoot.
- Drink plenty of water the day before the shoot
- Apply moisturiser to your face and lips the night before the shoot. If your lips are very chopped or have dry skin (during winter) a lip/face scrub could help to remove dead skin.
- Please come with clean and freshly washed hair
- Would be highly appreciated if you: remove facial hair (trim or wax) around the lip area and trim brows if needed (at least a few days before the shoot to avoid redness).
To see what I mean:

What NOT to do before the photoshoot?
- Please do not wear makeup before coming to the photoshoot.
- Do not pop pimples, especially close to the shooting date as it can cause redness and swelling in a much bigger area than the original offender.
- Do not wax the day before the shoot, but you can wax a few days before, if needed at all (on visible areas like around the lips, brows, armpits)
What to bring for the shoot?
- Hair brush, hair bands and hair pins.
- Any accessories (mostly earrings) that you feel would go well with the moodboard.
- You could possibly bring along a top/dress that has a good looking upper part or intricate detail at the neck/chest area that would match with the moodboard. (Eg. sparkly top with a sparkly makeup look.)
- A must: Strapless top or tube dress/top (black, white or grey – if you don’t have any or you forgot to pack, don’t worry as I always have one backup)
